Introduction:
As per new framework issued by SBP regarding Freelancer account, content of BOP freelancer needs update accordingly.
Description:
It is a Current account designed to cater the needs of independent laborers who earns wages on a per-job or per-task basis.
Eligibility Criteria: Resident Pakistanis (Natural Persons)
Salient Features
- Account Currency: PKR
o Exporters’ Special Foreign Currency Accounts (ESFCAs) will be opened with primary PKR account.
o Facility to retain USD 5,000/- per month or 50% of the export proceeds, whichever is higher, in ESFCAs.
o Balance available in ESFCAs may be utilized for making all allowed payments without any approval.
o ESFCS to PKR currency conversion facility.
- Initial Balance requirement: Nil
- Unlimited Monthly Transactions
- Account opening on minimum documents
